The adhesion of different materials is a vitally important parameter in many applications. In the case of medical implants, such as dental implants, greater adhesion facilitates the attachment of tissue to the implant. The interaction with cold atmospheric plasma, unlike other treatments, does not alter the volumetric properties of the material and it is respectful even with materials that do not resist thermal or chemical treatments, such as polymers.
